The cable route from the main or leisure battery is pretty straightforward - behind either one is a big rubber grommet you can get through, then it's up the side of the screen, over the top of the door(s) and along the plastic trim at the headlining, then drop down at the rear and feed forward to the rear cubby holes, or wherever you fancy.
Best bet is to run to a local fuse at the battery to protect the cable, then run the full length in new cable. Your call whether you run a 0v line as well or use a local earth point.

I bought a heavy duty wiring harness from a forum member a couple of years ago. It was innexpensive, very well put together ,a doddle to fit and is connected to the leisure battery using neat fuse connectors. The circuit reaches to the dash cig , a cig at the rear of the central tunnel and one to left and right in the rear of the van .
I use a small Waeco fridge freezer and it was recommended that I upgrade the rear wiring from the puny standard one .
Trouble is, I cant remember who was flogging the kits
