Regretably this clashes with Belvoir Castle Steam Rally, real shame as Abergavenny isn't far from us.

Will be ringing on Monday Ian, to book. Hopefully there will be space left.
Had a family crisis and only today emerged on the other side.

Newsflash: This camp site, which only opened recently, has had planning restrictions imposed by the local authority. Consequently there are not as many electric pitches available as they thought. All bookings received so far will be honoured, but we now have only 5 non-electric pitches left.

Anyone got a decent weather forcast for this event yet? The ones I have been looking at are like a lucky dip. Anything from sunny to more of the wrong sort of drought.
Do I pack my bathers and suncream or waders and emergency life raft or both? Tow rope and ramps packed as standard of course.

I think an outboard motor is probably your best bet

The weather today was rather nice in Cardiff....sunny and warm

. Abergavenny is another matter. I'll have wet weather gear and t-shirts and flip-flops just to be safe.
Just a reminder to those of you coming over the border. They do not give away carrier bags here in Wales anymore, so bring your shopping bags with you or pay 5p per bag.

Arrived from Essex 13:30, good trip. Weather here is fantastic, pitches are dry and comfortable, and the views are pleasant. I hope it continues for the rest of thw week.
