Bongo Fury

Hi All,

I need to find an experienced bongo garage in glasgow.

One who understands engines and particularly the bongo cooling system.

Can anyone recommend a garage they have used and had good results from?

I've been to one before on the bongo friendly list and not found them very good, or open to ideas.Mine has a veg oil conversion, and without even lookign he diagnosed a previous problem as being due to the veg oil, not the cracked head caused by overheating due to a knackered water pump, so I'm a bit wary of using him again.

veg oil kits send garages round the twist. been there.just adds more confusion.

tbh not sure if they are needed on the bongo anyway,ok you cant run to the same % as you can on a kit but really depends on how many short trips you do.

we find we add quite a lot of diesel to start up tank pre week and inf we added that to main tank with veg it would prob be fine.
