Recently my V6 suffered an oil leak from the crank seal.As a result oil all over the underside of the engine-any recommendations for cleaning agents to remove the unwanted oil.I'm afraid of using anything too strong that might cause damage to any other seals or hoses. Also afraid of what damage a jet wash would do due to the position of the engine under the seats and handbrake/gearstick etc. :?: :?: :?:

I have always used jizer brushing on and stippling in with a brush. then rinsing off with a hose . Allso spray it on for larger areas.

Just remember to keep it away from any waxoiled areas. particularly if spraying as it will remove waxoil also.

It also dissolves tarmac very readily, so take care if it's parked in the road or a tarmaced driveway.
