LPG Conversion - now CD player not reading - any ideas?

This is a real odd one and I can think of no explanation except coincidence, but its worth asking. I finally got the Bongo converted to LPG last week. All is fine, runs as perfectly as ever just a row of little lights on a spare switch and a petrol gauge stuck on half full. :D :D

But the CD player will not read CD's. It was working when I drove it in and not working on the drive back. The rest of the radio is fine, all stations there clock picking up the time OK. Its a Sony connected to the leisure battery. All my CDs still play fine on any other machine. They are all purchased rather than rewritten. Cannot find a reset button anywhere on the radio. Even found the instructions but they are of the useless in twenty languages variety.

Do I just replace the radio or is there something I have missed? All other electrics are working . #-o #-o

Have you tried a cleaning CD, to give the head a cleanup ? There might have been some dust and air movement which has just caused the problem.

Sony's usually have the reset button on the front once the face has been removed, usually blends in very well

try disconnecting your leisure battery for 20 seconds see if it resets failing that looks like a visit to aldi for one of their specials
