Bongo Fury

hi , i need 4 new tyres for my 4wd bongo , i know you are supposed to have same diameter tyres all round but how critical is it, can i get away with 2 new and 2 worn ones for a few weeks or must i replace all at the same time

Would have thought same size could just put 2 on but if realy worried then 2 new ones on front at lower pressure than rear should be ok

I was told that new tyres should go on the rear. Something to do with the new tyres having better grip and the rear end overtaking you with the lower grip on old tyres.

You could always disconnect the front prop shaft....

mmmmm starting to think about mine now after reading these posts. Have 4 winter tyres on now all same so no probs. Come spring have 2 half worn summer tyres to go on but need to get two more,. These will be new so even if i get same make and type will they cause damage?

i just bought 4 new tyres for my civic VTI from a place called camskill.co.uk and i will be for the bongo next month its crazy cheap for tyres i got 4 toyo proxies for peanuts ill be going 4 nexens for the bongo.
