Hi all,

Does anyone know where to get the spring clips for the air filter box under the driver's seat. Put in a new K&N today and noticed one was missing leaving a bit of a gap on one side.

Any ideas welcome.

You might get one from a garage that is breaking a bongo for spares.
You could use a cable tie as a temporary hold till you get one.

What are the gains from fitting a K&N filter?

Thanks Jaylee, will have a look tomorrow - worth a shot.

Bongo Bonkers - I'm running off the factsheet on the members pages to try and reduce the fuel consumption so am hoping that a high flow airfilter will contribute. I can see you're a biker so it's the same concept when you fit a K&N, straight through pipe (used to have to Dynojet before injection) and remap to improve performance. A lot of the gubbins in there (exhaust, air induction box etc) is restricted by the manufacturer to comply with emmissions laws - hence why on your bike you get a great big gaping hole in your mid range!

Will see how it fairs and keep you posted.

Wash and re-oil... not throwaway... so cheaper in the long run, better air flow through for better performance... can lead to better running and fuel consumption figures, driver dependent
