Behind the drivers step panel is a thick loom that runs to the engine bay through a grommet... You can take the wiring up to your gauges up behind the footwell kick panel that hides the beeping stuff, past the end of the dash & up behind the A pillar trim.. I got a turbo gauge on mine.. I also ran the temp gauge sensor wires this route too!!

It may have even been Halfords..? i paid no more than a fiver for it..

I carefully screwed the base to the metal A pillar under the trim using a disc off cut from a 5mm? Thick piece of universal mud flap to bring the base attachment out forward of the hole in the trim, then screwed the pod neck back on when the trim was replaced... Its adjustable... There is also a second smaller hole for the wiring to the gauge hidden behind the bracket.

The real time consumer was measuring & lining up the holes for the base in the A pillar trim & the wiring..!
