There are a few members running around with exactly one of those fitted to their cylinder heads.......I made up a few for trial about 3 years ago using a small buzzer as the alarm....
The vibrations were the main concern and if they would last long term.....If anyone still has one fitted perhaps they could comment.??

Yes...still going strong!...and, as you know, the LCA has worked for me 3 times with heater matrix pipes breaking with no warning, and you know how many times I've been through the system with a fine-tooth comb :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

The Low Coolant Alarm will always give the first warning of a coolant leak (unless you have a very sensitive "hooter")
The "other gadget" mentioned above will hopefully warn you if overheating is actually taking place....If I remember right the sensor takes a long time to reset if it does go off and selecting the best value was a problem for differant Bongos.....
