Hi to all, I have posted before about my Bongo that keeps cutting out. I thought it was fixed by taking the advice of Simon Jones, about there being a problem with the breather on the fuel. the problem is back again ie cutting out then waiting 30 mins or there abouts and then its OK again for awile. It has been to to three previous garages but they do not seem to know much about Bongos. Ther is more on this problem on a previous post. It can be found under V6 cutting out. By Joca. So if any of you guys or gals know of a friendly Bongo garage near Birmingham, West Midlands etc, I would be Thank full. Anyway happy new Year to you all. John

Sorry to hear the problem is back again. Just to eliminate the theory about a vacuum building up in the tank, did you make any changes such as leaving the filler cap loose and did it make an improvement? If it helped but didn't completely solve it, then it may point to an under-performing fuel pump.

On my V6 there is a noticeable 'whoosh' when I remove the filler cap although I've not had any issues with it cutting out. There is a list of 'Bongo friendly' garages in the members area so it may be worth a call to some of those in your area. Good luck with it.
