Bongo Fury

hi all only picked up my bongo from bristol docks on monday and have started playing allready. the bongo is a 2001 model and has an the original mazda radio fitted. i took this out to fit a double din cd/dvd player and the new cage falls though the hole in the dash. has anyone come accross this before? i thought i was being abit thick but the cage just falls in. sorry for the bad grammer been working for last twelve hours feeling abit tired.

Ermm never had that before,iv fitted a couple of dd din and never fell through,

When I did mine I took the cage from the old radio and fitted the new radio to it

there is no cage on the original mazda radio its just held in place by two tabs each side. its very strange its is a couple of mm out in height and in width.

you can buy the sheets of black plastic facia & cut them out to fill the gap
