cam cover gasket

Has anyone replaced the cam cover gasket on a 2.5 diesel any tips please.
Get a set with new washers. Don't overtighten the top bolts - less than 10Nm, but it's not under much pressure.snakes46 wrote:Has anyone replaced the cam cover gasket on a 2.5 diesel any tips please.
Service manual has sealant locations marked, but I smeared a small amount all the way round.
It's a piece of cake. I did this right after my first (ever) oil change.
