Bongo Fury

Hi all I am hoping you can help,
my Ford Freda cut out on the school run on Monday morning.

It drove about 500 yards fine, went to turn the corner and stalled, started her up all fine, popped her into drive and she shuddered to a halt! Has this happened to you? Can you tell me what you did to get your bongo started again please.

Diesel good, engines been brill just got back from London and no problems so can't think what it might be.
Really appreciate any help.

Sorry to hear about your problem - I'm not in anyway technical so in many ways don't know why I'm even replying but, I had a cut out problem with mine that turned out to be the fuel pump which I ended up having reconditioned.

However one tip I can pass on, having suffered innumerable cut outs at crucial moments is - restart it in neutral (assuming it's an automatic).

Probably obvious to all but me.
