Hi, sorry if this sounds like a silly question from a newbie to the forum & the wonderful world of Bongo's, but does anyone know how I should remove the original jap stereo (2 din) without damaging the dash & what connections I need to fit a 2 din aftermarket stereo/cd/dvd player? My newly acquired bongo is a 2002 Aero 2.5td 4wd.

Thanks,

Phil

If you have an aero type you'll need this type of adapter, http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CT20MZ02-Mazd ... 2a14a48e47

The stereo removal varies depending on the brand, you'll need a cubby box if the new stereo is a single DIN type, like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CT20MZ02-Mazd ... 2a14a48e47, or if its a double it should just slot in

The Japanese radio in ours was a simple job of popping off the outer surround, and undoing 4 screws - but different models will vary
