If you see a converted one you like at the right price go for it but I think you need to use one for a while to get to know how you would like it fitted out, if you want to sleep upstairs or down for instance.

Where you put the loo is down to personal choice, but I don't put the awning up for less than a four day stay, I just use the porch poles and guys and a tarp.

We have side conversion. Bed pulls out to edge of fridge. There is JUST enough room for portapotti at the end of the bed for nighttime emergency use if we arent using the awning. We have the smallest thetford portapotti.

Same with us.'Light' use only .We have a full width bed and there is just enough room behind the drivers seat for the smallest model .I had the bed made by Cannonsforge with this in mind.
Ours is a Thetford 335 but it was sold by Lidl under another brand name for a bargain price .
On removing the brand name logo I found the thetford logo!
Dimensions: H:30.5cm x W:34.3cm x D:38.1cm

* Waste Tank capacity: 10 Litres

Have a porta potty - never use it - too complicated and prone to let things stew. Use a big bucket 'Need a loo' with seat and lid and place it in the awning that goes over the tail gate. We also always carry an ex-army entrenching tool!
