Burst my radiator

Hi all

Being a total pratt, I knew I needed to top up my coolant, and as always tomorrow springs to mind, when I got stuck in a traffic jam and overheated.......my radiator is now like Niagara falls and am replacing it with one being delivered tomorrow.

Two questions please, fellow Bongonauts

1) What colour antifreeze do I use here?

2) Is it an easy job, it looks so on looking under the front lifty bit that I should have looked under weeks ago? Any tips on this would be of great help

Cheers all

Serge

do a search (top right) tab and put in replacing the rad. loads of threads will pop up.
couple of hours and quite easy to do.
make sure the new rad is the same as old. and has the gearbox oil cooler connections at the bottom.

Given the history I would then get the system pressure tested once fitted.

Mine has pink antifreeze but I'm not sure if a flush is enough to change types, not being an expert, I would still be worried about sediment coming away, I think that might have happened to mine. I saw black bits in the reservoir a bit before mine self destructed.
