Wing Mirrors

At the risk of sounding dim, can anyone tell me if it is ok to pull the wing mirrors in? The electric switch wiggles them around nicely, but I sometimes have to park on narrow streets and would like to pull them right in.
I don't want to just yank them in case it bu**ers up the electrics.
Thanks!

I take it you mean you can adjust the position of the mirrors ok, do yours not fold in electrically? It won't do any harm to fold them in manually either way.

If your mirrors are electric and not folding flat then they must have a fault. My electric mirrors fold flat against the side cab windows. Maybe weak motors or just need lubricating with Universal Silicone Oil.

Some adjust mirror position electrically, but do not have the electric fold function.

Nope - as Missfixit says, they don't all fold electrically, but do adjust the view.

Thanks, everyone, for the replies. I just pulled them in and nothing exploded!

Having had two electically folding mirrors break after being wrenched closed and open, I very much prefer not to fold them (the relacements - thanks Wayne as ever) other than by using hte electric motor folding switch. If yours are like mine (if they are there shold be a rocker switch adjacent to the mirror adjustment switch), then I'd be wary of folding them manually. However, it sound like yours might not be electrical folding mirrors, so no problem if so.
