V6 Compatible parts - Maybe

I've been looking for a Rotor arm and Dizzy Cap for my V6 and looked everywhere so I have done some research and it looks like they are the same as a Mazda 929 3.0 v6. Does anyone knows if it makes a difference if they are used on a 3 litre?
