Ride height

Hi All,
I am very pleased with my recently acquired 96 bongo. One thing I have noticed, is the ride height seems higher than most of the pictures of others I have seen, when you look at the gap between top of the tyres and the wheel arches.
I will try to get some pics tomorrow - particularly the gap between the top of the rear tyres and the rear wheel arches seems quite large. It drives okay, but is a bit rolly - although I would expect quite a bit more body roll than my lowered MG, so can't really say if it is unusually high from that comparison.
Do people lower them? Or raise them for that matter? Mine is not 4wd, so would not expect it to be unusually high, but it does look a bit high looking. Is there a standard measurement between the centre of the wheel and the lower part of the wheel arch? It may not matter, but I am kind of curious.
I think will have to bring it to a meet to do a proper comparison ....
