Its called body moulding tape, and most car accessory shops sell it in a roll.

Be sure to thoroughly de-grease the area with some thinners / white spirit and dry with a clean cloth / tissue before fitting as this will ensure a good bond between the lights and the bodywork

then when its all done get some before n after pics up so we can all revel in your self induced LED heaven

make sure you use 3m moulding tape and make sure its degreased first.
Cheap moulding tapes eveything drops off,
I've been playing with these strip leds this week and have some that you can just cut to length, very cool,

Got mine form Ebay for around £1.99 but I have also seen them sold on Amazon as well.
Still not fitted mine but I will be simply connecting them to the sidelights

Wire them into the sidelight circuit, I supergued mine on as the 3M tape gave up pretty quick . . .

well I wondered about superglue but thought if they should fail they would be a bugga to remove, will try the tape first I think.

Bought my 'daylight lights' from Halfords, peeled back the adhesive protection paper , cleaned the fitting area bodywork with alcohol, pressed them on, wired up to sidelights... job done 40mins.. they been on the vehicle now some 4 months no sign of peeling off... (your lights should have self adhesive backing you should not need any further adhesive tape)
