Bongo Fury

Hi , we have 15" alloys on our bongo and thinking of getting a set of steel rims with winter tyres for the coming season.
Does anyone have experience of fitting other steel wheels ? what vehicles have the same rim size as the bongo, see plenty steel 15" rims on ebay but unsure of the stud orientation etc.

Anyone ?

What's the matter with Bongo ones?

There always seem to be plenty of people removing them to fit alloys.


PS This is not a facetious answer, when I bought mine I had the alloys changed for standard steel wheels.

I have done this recently as my alloys were a bit rough!

I got 4 Bongo steels from 321 Away for £20 each, and 4 wheel trims from Bell Hill Garage for £15, £12 for paint from Halford and some extra money for my kids sanding them down and boom they look great!

What is the correct offset for a bongo?

I noticed from the list above that wheels from a Mitsubishi Evo 4-6 will fit.

I have some Standard Evo 9 wheels with winter tyres on and wondered if they would fit ok. The early Evo's have a higher offset than the later ones.
