Hi all

I have recently imported a Mazda Bongo converted camper to Ireland. Im wondering where all the Irish Mazda Bongo owners are?

And more importantly where can I take my Bongo to get some work done on the coolant system and thermostat? Does anyone know of any Bongo Friendly garages in Ireland?

(sorry if this has been posted already... I looked but can't find any answers)

Can't help with bongo friendly garages in Ireland but definitely interested in where they are as we're planning on a trip over in December. If you know of good campsites around Cork and further south in the mountains would love some info :)

Apart from bleeding the cooling system that can be seen in video on utube

the rest of regular bongo servicing is just basic spanner work

that any descent mechanic could handle

Where in are you based? Not many Bongo's in Ireland so no specialist garage as far as I know. Most motor factors can supply parts if you use the club parts compatible list. If you say Mazda Bongo you will get a funny look. I get my bits in Rathgar so they are used to it. Any other bits can be posted from the UK supplier's. I diy and have not needed to search out anyone to do work but as has been said before any good spanner man will take it on. Will ask around if your in the Dublin area.

As for camping in Ireland try http://www.camping-ireland.ie/.
