Curtains attached via press studs in cabin (magnets on rear hatch), and individually switched radio, and 12v front/rear sockets from Leisure Battery

Also working round the interior updating the dull grey cloth !!!

Looks very good but why don't you just use the blinds that mazda supplied are they broken or summat ?

How do you cover the tops of the doors? I like that

easy, just rip off the old use it as a pattern, then glue the new fabric back on pinching in the edges with a credit card.

M80NGO - the existing blinds are fine - but these ones are thermal and blackout so it keeps it dark (and nobody can see through them when the lights on) and warm.

Stuc - for the doors, I took the panel off, and pre-cut the material to slightly bigger than needed - then sprayed the back of the material with photomount adhesive. Then starting from the middle pressed the material onto the existing trim working out to the edges making sure it stuck. Instead of using a credit card as suggested by the janner vanner, I used a smal screwdriver to press the material into the recesses - carefully using a scalpel to trim any excess as necessary. The material runs uner the rubber trim at the top, as this can beeasily removed once the panel is off. For the handle I cut an 'x' into the material over the hole and folded it back. For one door I tried masking and spraying the existing fabric on the door, then applying the covering - but that didn't work quite as well - and I found it easier spraying the fabric you're gluing on.

Next job is working round the cabin area doing those fabric panels as well

The JVC kit was at the cheaper end of the range bought in the UK - and has the ability to upgrade to Bluetooth, and DAB with plugin upgrades - could have spent a whole pile more (in excess of £1K) for an all singing all dancing DVD, Satnav etc unit - but I ended up taking the sensible route (for now )
