What happened to the great PC installation thread

Many months ago, I was following a massive thread from a genius. He was creating an enterprise-esque dashboard rebuild with a pc screen and loads of gadgets. I can't find it anymore. Did it ever get finished or did the recession stop the madness.?

He's been working on it since August 2007, so I expect it must be time for a motherboard upgrade

He's got a lot to answer for. I stumbled on that thread about 3 years ago following a link from singletrack world forum. At that point, I'd never heard of a Bongo, or (obviously) this site / forum.
The rest is history!
