Bongo Fury

We are currently roaming in the wonderful county of Lancashire (I was born there ). We have explored the Panopticans and G8DHE has plenty of Panoramic photos in around those. I have ticked a couple of places off my list, Boundary Mills being one, but I was just wondering if anyone knew of any hidden gems.

just over the hill is hebdenbridge, on a market day, or a weekend its like the glastonbury of the north ,with a nice history and canal people thrown in for free,nice and concentrated so walking around isnt bad.

Right lets see we did pass thru Hebden Bridge a couple of times and I do want to do some Pano's there so I think that will be on the list, Yorkshire not this trip unless its on the way back down, but it is a favourite, especially the Restaurant at Akebar Park camp site

Gravy wrestling ?

Last years winners, Elliot Rooke, who was dressed as a Bunny Girl, and Elisa Samson, who wrestled as Little Bo Peep, will be defending their crowns.

That sounds like fun, I wonder if I could do a Pano as they face off to each other ???? But the question should be what will Evil Edna go as .... Suggestions please - she's watching drowning men looking out to sea off Crosby at the moment Whilst I make a brew in the Van !

Thanks for the suggestions folks- we had a good tour of Formby Point, Gormley Statues & Southport today. Must find out when Market day is in Hebden Bridge!

They are different - well worth a visit, that stretch of coast is always a bit windy though but there is a good long car park which is free - perfect place for a bongo brew and flapjack!!! I will post pictures up when I get home!
