Hi guys
I'm on a bulb replacing mission.. I'm putting in two flush mount fog lights into the bumper and then reconnecting the 'old' forglight back to being a reversing light. There's a problem with reversing in the dark and not being able to see what's going on. Does anyone know the maximum wattage theat I can get away with for brightness or LEDs, perchance?? Also want to change ther headlights and sidelights for xenons or halogens. Does anyone know what the right bulb spec is? and what I could get away with without melting the lenses!?
All help greatly appreciated.. ..happy bongoing!
Snowy

if your talking about led and flush mounting why not fit something like these (

yes, we've fitted em to the front for people who want the Audi style driving lights and to the backs for people who want reverse floodlgith type things, simple 2 wire, 2 screw attatchments

Or you could use the "spare" light panel in the rear light cluster for the fog light's like a few of us have done, means you can have both reversing lights, looks neat & no cutting into the bumper required -

If you need brighter reversing lights, this thread may help, just replace the standard bulbs with brighter LED bulbs -

I have never known a vehicle as bad as my bongo for poor light on reversing, my sons fiesta is like a wartime searchlight compared to it..when..haha I get my bongo back I am gonna fit a different lamp..unless I sell it and buy a Nissan cube which I really fancy.

Wow! I like those, and a snip @ £3.99. Very tempting & can I presume they could be fitted to the same wiring harness as the main reversing lights, as LEDs will draw hardly any extra current?

yep they can just be tied into the reverse wiring without any issues
