V6 skylight on a mushroom roof

My wife and I are now super excited about collecting our Bongo in the next two weeks. Can't wait to set off on our first trip and intend to head for Italy at the end of August.
I really want to fit a skylight to our new mushroom roof for more ventilation and light, wondered if anyone had already fitted such a skylight? Does it fit OK in the relatively thin roof material?

It has been done, but I can't find the thread, someone else may pop up with it.

Nope, not that one, that says it can't be done, but I know there was a thread & I saw one/it in the flesh at Looe, can't remeber if it was last year or the year before though

I may be back

I had seen Hadyn's very neat job but wondered if there were any others out there. I presume it is a Fiamm unit, where did you buy it?

But it'll be the same thickness, which is the point

If it's a JAL mushroom roof, as I suspect, you'll probably see the impression left in the fibreglass by the original AFT roof glass.
So I'd have thought a vent to fit into that would be ok??
