My airbag warning is staying on. Has anybody else had this, and how can I sort it out?

No you dont, like the abs and diagnostic system, it runs a scan every time you turn the igntion on, so if you repair the fault turning off the ignition for a while (10 mins or so) will reset the scan, tho the fault code will still be logged in the ecu memory which requires a battery off reset. not exactly rocket science with a bongo, at most you have 2 airbags, but its most commonly the 'clockspring' behind the steering wheel thats failed. You dont need obd equipment to read bongo codes, it has its own onboard systemstuc wrote:You would have to get it plugged in to a diagnostic machine to get the light put out, but if it has a fault the light would come back on. A diagnostic machine would also tell you what fault code is causing the problem.
