Bongo Fury

My alarm has stopped peeping when I lock or unlock the Bongo. The doors are still locking though and the light is still flashing on the dash. Has anyone any ideas what can be wrong?

Yep, (well possibly?) Ether the blip sound has been disabled on the actual alarm...? (Some alarms have this function/choice.) Or there may be a connection gone to the siren? In the case of the latter, it wont/might not sound if triggered!

Either way the neighbours will be happy!!

Lol. Had a conversion done the other week so dont know if something could have been disturbed but it has worked since until yesterday and I do like my peep! Will have to dig out the little manual that came with it and try to understand it..am not very talented with cars because Im "only a woman"

You may have something like this under the bonnet..?



If the work was done on say a leisure battery & the related circuit, something may have come adrift???

Have you tried setting the alarm, then opening the door with the key manually first to see if it sets it off??
If it wails...? Then it may be the settings either in "valet mode" or pips/arm warning set to off..
