The good family Seventiesboy have just returned from a trip staying at the C&CC site at St.David's in beautiful Pembrokeshire.
Here are a few photos.

Enjoy 8)

Nolton Haven, you may be able to tell that I liked this place very much :D

The world's most expensive, but also probably the best, fish and chips at Porthgain for the lovely Mrs Seventiesboy's birthday tea. I know how to spoil a girl

Looks lovely.

My 'kids' (g18, b16) want to go camping this summer and I've never been to the Pembrokeshire coast and had it in mind to go there and do some coastal walks. Would you recommend this site as scenic, quiet, well placed for walks etc.? What are prices like compared to others (I was in C&CC but now lapsed). And will I even be able to get booked for summer (my problem - don't answer that one!)?

All info gratefully received etc. 8)

Lovely pics of your holiday. Love this area. We used to go when the kids were small to Caerfai Bay. Brought back loads of memories. Might just take a trip this year. Will make a note of the location of the chippy. Thanks for sharing Trish

This was our first time to Pembrokeshire too. Very impressed by the area, quite beautiful and generally unspoiled.
Yes I would recommend this site. The little local bus stops right outside and the coastal path is very close by.
The site is priced in line with most others we have used, C&CC and independent. I don't find C&CC overpriced generally.
It is a quiet site with 40 pitches and is very clean. The site managers are really helpful. They even have happy chickens wandering the site and sell the eggs at reception. There are herbs growing outside reception that you can help yourself to, great for the Cobb :D

It's amazing what you can achieve with a pair of pliers and some insulating tape

Looks lovely. Makes me want to go back there. I loved the walking on the hills to the right of Whitesands. Coastal path but also loads of other walks.

One other place I really liked was Freshwater West. The National Trust own most of it, if not all of it, and its very unspoilt, although lacking in campsites because of the MOD area as well.

I was lucky enough to live in Nolton haven for a few years, back in the single days before Miss Timmyt :D ....ahhh the memories !!!
still love the place....every day im reminded of how lucky we are to live in such a beautiful part of the world.
Please keep coming to visit but please help look after our beaches and countryside [-o< No doubt all you fellow bongo'rs do anyway though!! we are very protective in these 'er parts [-X
And Fresh is our personal favourite too...been there all morning surfing with friends :D ...getting alot busier now though thanks to Harry Bl**dy Potter and his shell house and Robin Hood!
Your also pretty safe to just pull in and stay overnight at Fresh, although the local bobbies have been know to come move you on,although this has only ever happened to me once in all the years and even then its normally in the A.M.

Yes, Fresh was definitely my favourite. I noticed in the film (HP) you can actually see the van selling tea coffee etc in the distance! It's when Dobby is dying. Sorry to bring up the HP!
