Manchester to Lithuania trip

The mrs and I are planning a trip to Lithuania sometime in July. Route likely to be france, belgium, holland, germany, poland then lithuania. If anyone has done a similar trip I would be interested to hear your experiences, plus any tips on good camping/overnight spots.
