Dismayed to see that Discount Trucks in Newbury seemed to have closed down? Anyone know any information? Have they moved? Anyone know how to contact Fred?

Don't want to take my V6 anywhere else!

OK guys,

Been in touch with them, they are still in business, nothing untoward there.

However they have had some issues with their BT phone line which should be resolved within 24 hours.

Mystery solved !!

Good to hear all is well with them, I'd be stuffed without their help.

Delighted to hear it is a phoneline issue. Will both mobile and landline being dead I feared the worse!!

Hi all ,
Im on year 8 with my Bongo and originally number 26 on this website b4 letting membership lapse.
Discount trucks has had my Bongo for last 2/3 weeks resolving issues ive had for some time with bongo.
After many specialist have done work on my bongo i can honestly say Discount trucks are the best company i have used.
Brilliant at diagnostics and absoulute value for money explaining all that was going on at every stage of repair.
i have been in the motor trade for30+years as paint repair specialist.
These guys know what thay are doing!!
Would recomend them to any one.

Hi,
Contacted someone at Discount Trucks on the moBile no. - I let it ring for ages and jumped out of my skin when a man answered. It was a terriBle connection and he said he was 'having a day off' (something along those lines!) and would ring Back in an hour.
Still waiting ,But am happy to do so as I've heard such good things aBout them.

Discount Trucks phones are now sorted and once again I would just like to recommend them. Another quality service and sorting out our MOT for our V6.

Ive written before about these guys ... superb service, customer care, technical knowledge and reasonable pricing. Im soooo lucky they are about 20 mins from me and I only discovered that after buying the Bongo. Recommended without question; sometimes Fred can even go into too much detail in explaining issues/resolution to me - bless him; a refreshing change from other experiences where they try to faff and pull the wool over my eyes!!

Just had my bongo serviced and prepared for MOT , which it passed. Fantastic service as always at a really reasonable price. I would not take my bongo anywhere else. Every visit I find out some new peice of information to help me look after my bongo.

Just bought a Freda from them a couple of weeks ago.
Both Gerry and Fred were very helpful and I'm having a low coolant level alarm fitted next week for free. The BT broadband in their village keeps having problems so e-mail contact can be patchy.
Discount Trucks was recommended to me by a fellow Bongonaut and I have been pleased with the friendly service I have received.
