My garage says I need new rear suspension rubbers with roll bar. They quote £300 complete. I see that I can buy the bits in the shop, but how very difficult would it be to fit them? All advice much appreciated. Malabar.

Are they saying you need a new Anti-roll bar? or just the bushes? even with brackets, retail is only a tenner a side (£20 in total) and half hour to fit, thats a seriously steep price! I've never seen a roll bar that needed replacing (yet!).
Fitting is simple, few squirts of WD40, and a 14mm socket/spanner and thats it

Thanks very much for info, chaps. Yes, a cancelled appointment is on its way to the garage. It's not that urgent, just a few bump noises at the back there. I shall relay your info, 321, to my spouse Geoff., and he will be most grateful. Cheers! Malabar.
