Bongo Fury

Help please. The central locking on my 2002 Bongo will not activate the lock on the passenger door but locks all the other doors although I can manually lock/unlock that and all the other doors. Everything was fine until I internally manually locked the driver's door at the same time as my wife locked or unlocked the passenger door but since then as I say the passenger door can only be locked/unlocked manually. When i press the central locking button there is a 'whirring' noise from the passenger door.
Can anyone help please.

Thanks for that. Is this something the average DIY person could check/fix? What sort of cost would be involved?

Get a simple 2 wire motor from fleabay like this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/CENTRAL-LOCKING-2 ... 53e6527b56
, remove the door card, 3 mains screws, 1 in the door handle and 1 in the door pocket, pull the trim round the edges to pop the clips, pull the door handle back and out, then left the door card up, reach round and unplug the window switch and thats the panel out of the way, you'll see 2 wires running into the door near the lock, think they're red and red/green, these are the wires you join onto the wires on the new actuator, then its just some jigging to get the solenoid in place and the rod attatched, 3 tips i can give is where the solenoid sits is just about the bottom edge of the upper space so using some pliers 'flatten' out the edges to allow the actuator to sit flush, also with the door knob, once you have the actuator joined it can catch on the front edge so give that a little 'persuading' too so there's no edge for the connector to catch, sounds a big thing but once you get inside the door you'll see its quite easy, you'll need a drill with 4mm bit, philips (p2) screwdriver, Insualting tape, cutters and crimps/cripm tool depending on how you want to attatch the new wires, 3rd tip is try the motor to make sure you have the wires round the right way before you permanently connect them! Total cost about £5 and 30 mins of your time.
