Spirit of Speyside Whisky festival, 28th April - 2 May??

Post by .co.uk » Mon Mar 28, 2011 11:56 am

Does anyone fancy a wee trip to the Spirit of Speyside Whisky festival which runs from 28th April until 2nd May 2011?? Check out the website to see what's on at http://www.spiritofspeyside.co.uk

There are several camp sites throughout Moray and around the Aviemore area for folk to stay at. One of the closest sites to the majority of the festivities is http://www.aberlourgardens.co.uk

101 views and not one reply. The Spirit of Speyside is an annual event and is on this year from May 3rd to May 7th 2012. I thought there may have been more interest in this one as I know a lot of our members enjoy a wee dram! Anyone fancy going along for a wee tour or event? :P

I'm just outside Aberlour anyway so am usually there. There's a site at Craigellachie as well and one just up past the Macallan distillery. Loads of places where you can just park up for the night around Dufftown/Grantown etc.

It's usually a good week (we normally get our best weather around then but still bring a coat!).

I'm home for that week, so would defo be interested in going. I'll confirm nearer the time when Mrs_Aber tells me what our plans are!
