As many know I run on 100% vegetable oil and it tends to shrink seals. Returning to diesel long term tends to swell them again. [-o<
The times seals will shrink and swell must be limited. I have replaced my front and rear seal as per Dandy's thread but have had an annoying small leak that leaves a calling card under the Bongo overnight. ](*,)

I have been adding a tiny amount of acetone to my veg oil as this (don't shoot the messenger) agitates the fuel, opening up the molecular structure allowing a better burn. It can also improve MPG or power.

The acetone is added at 1.5ml per litre, yes, this is a tiny amount but it seems to work. Starting is better and the damp patch under the Bongo's bed is dry. [-o< [-o< [-o<

My guess is the front seal the one that the shaft passes through to the drive belt is the culprit as the leak is so hard to pin down.

Where I'm trying to get to guys n girls is before you spend loads of money on your injector pump getting leaks fixed try acetone before I start selling it on E Bay as Liquid Injector pump leak repairer. \:D/ \:D/ \:D/

Acetone has been used for years as a fuel enhancer also in methanol powered engines to stop the methanol attracting water.
