Hi,acording to the parts list its the same box from 1995 to 2001..
part no 17-900..

Hi accrag,
Have you checked the box for oil,does the knocking go away if you put the box in neutral while you are traveling (IE free wheeling)?

HI YES PUT OIL IN REAR AXLE AND FRONT TRANSFER BOX, KNOCKS WHEN IN DRIVE.

hi ite box that the two props are connected too. could be the diff box. no it doesnt knock in neutral. i hav'nt checked mountings will do. thaks.
