Afraid it does sound bad

If it won't even turn over, it sounds like a hydraulic lock caused by coolant in the cylinder(s) - good luck

Yep in Braintree and nope....not a bongo garage as such......but the the guys know what they are doing and are bloody good at it !
I think it is a hydraulic lock.......but until the guys get the head of not sure of the damage
Will say hello to them bongo....

Without telling them to suck eggs, suggest you print off the fact sheet regarding head/gasket replacement(assuming ther is 1?) as there are a few quirks with the bongo that an unfamiliar (no matter how good) mechanic may well stumble over.

Sounds a cheap quote to me, for retrofitting a clutch to an automatic Bongo.
Whaaaaaaat. Have I missed something?

Don't know anything about
THIS LOT - But they are in Barking & it seems a reasonable price, bearing in mind that when I've paid for just a new head + ancilleries, labour & VAT its only a couple of hundred quid less than what they charge for the whole thing . . . . .
