Falmouth Meet - Sunday 12th December 2010
As per last year, for those of you who came, another meet in Falmouth at Gyllyngvase Beach Car Park on Sunday 12th December 2010 from 11am. Let's hope we have the same wonderful sunshine as we had last year.
Everyone welcome, particularly new owners and would be owners. There's plenty of room in the car park I look forward to seeing lots of familiar faces and meeting some new people too.
The car parking is free, the beach is dog friendly at this time of year, and there is a cafe on the beach which also serves food. Several of the hotels locally also serve food but some will be quite busy coming up to Christmas so booking is likely to be necessary.

I wonder if I may have joined the ranks by then - in which case I'll join you with my puppy!

Even if you haven't "joined the ranks" by then, you're still very welcome by whatever means (although it's probably too far to walk )

I could come on my trike - the makers (ICE) are just up the road from the beach! (But not in December - my madness has its limits...)

Just thought I'd bump this up to the top in case anyone who needs to see it hasn't seen it
As a matter of interest, if anyone really wants to get into the Christmas spirit (the real one, not the commercial one), the Salvation Army are having their annual Christmas Celebration at the Princess Pavilion at 4pm on that day. It's a ticket only event, details here http://www.carrickleisureservices.org.u ... x?page=196 The Princess Pavilion is within walking distance of the Gyllyngvase Beach Car Park.

Re: Falmouth Meet - Sunday 12th December 2010
Excellent. I shall be out and about putting a note under the windscreens of the hundreds of Bongos who live within easy striking distance and see who I can lure down to the car park on the 12th. Even the hi top Bongo whose driver never waves!! Feel free to spread the word, folks. There are also a fair few folk from this part of the world who seem to have been absent (or at least very quiet) from the forum for some time.
Incidentally, if anyone is coming with children (or not, I suppose) we'll be heading off to the Christingle Service at Budock Church (just outside Falmouth) for 4pm if I remember my nomex suit and gloves You are welcome to join us (with or without fire retardant fabrics )

Sometimes I think we should move down your way, just for the meets

I agree Chris, so long as you get another bongo. You know you'll have no problems getting a babysitter.

There isn't a "no motorhome" sign at Gylly Beach Car Park (there's a no lorries, caravans or trailers sign). There might be a home made "Bongos Over Here, Motorhomes Over There" sign thoughChris&Gem wrote:Sometimes I think we should move down your way, just for the meets
