I heard a rumour the drivers window switch on the Mazda 323F is exactly the same as the Bongo.
Is this the case, because the cheapest switch I can find for the Bongo is circa £120, but the 323F was much more common, and a UK model, so switches should be a fraction of the price.
Anyone know ? and where I could get one.
Cheers.

The rumour is correct I just got 1 off of Ebay for £20 + p&p. All you need to do is remove the outcasing but the switch is exactly the same. Type in "Mazda window switches" in the search box on ebay and you should find them but remember you need 1 from a 2 door model not a 4 door.

In fact the rear passenger ones look exactly like the electric blind switches too!! (No modding required?)

compatible parts list here - http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/ ... =3&t=14881
Have a look on ebay or any scrapyard & be patient, one'll come along at the right price
Are you sure it's the switch that needs replacing & not the wiring between the door & body? The switches can sometimes be repaired if it is that.

You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.

The switch is definitely to blame, the electric part of it works, but the plastic switch parts have shattered, that said, having looked at the loom it looks like it needs some TLC
