Looked everywhere else but can't find it. How does the radio come out please?

If its a standard radio either side of it will be two vertical strips about 5mm wide, these lift out with a small flat blade screw driver to reveal some holes, radio removal keys/tools slide down these and then you lever to release their grip to remove. The keys are the same as used on most late 80's 90's Fords, most car accessory/audio places sell them for a couple of pounds, you can do it with a number of small screwdrivers but can be awkward.

A good way of getting the radio out if you haven't got the proper tool is to make a tool using a metal coathanger. Chop two 4" sections off, fashion them both into a U shape, with the straight sides being parallel and the same distance apart as the stereo holes and they will release the clips when inserted.

They should each look like:

And pop the glove box out so you can get yer nogin in to see what you are doing (drop forward and squeeze sides in to release)

Removing the glove box is great, there is loads of room behind there to get your mitts behinds the stereo
