Kendal Mountain Search & Rescue Team
On behalf of the team, and personally, I'd like to thank Ian & Marianne for allowing me to hold the auction in support of KSMRT funds.
Your support was fantastic with some of you selling items, plus we had some amazing donations for auctioning with all going to Team funds, including a couple of awnings! Thanks to all who donated items.
There were 57 lots in total of which 46 were sold. Total cash turnover from lots was over £600
I'd hoped that I could raise somewhere between £150 - £200.
Thanks to your generosity the total raised from the auction was £387+ and when adding donations in the collection box the total raised has come to:
£428-32p
Barring only 1 minor clitch (apoligies to those involved) everyone seemed to enjoy the auction and some lucky peeps went home with some amazing bargains.
If there is sufficient intrest I'm happy to organise another one next year for a different charity.
cheers
H

I think it was a smashing idea, I for one would be happy for Harry to organise the auction again for the funds to go to his mountain rescue team, they do stunning work for little or no recognition.
Congrats to all who won and sold items (including me)

The auction was great fun and I hope it'll return again next year. Maybe I'll have a little more cash in my pocket and more luck with the bidding!!!
