Waste Water Tank

Hi there,
I have a 98 Bongo, Wellhouse conversion. It has a Waste water tank underneath. Upon inspecting the under carriage I feel like I should try to waxoyl underneath it, as the metal is showing signs, nothing too major!
Question is, how do I get to tank, it sits on a metal frame which looks like it is part of the original manufacture rather than an add on. I can obviously wax the bit closest to the road, but it is full of holes and I really need to oil the top of it. The holes don't look big enough to stick a probe into as there isnt enough clearance!
Is it possible to remove the tank and do it that way.
I would appreciate your thoughts.
Rob
