Ok, this one is especially for Alison (Alison01326, not Mrs Muz
), another rubbery idea to scare the Mother-in-Law away. You live in a harbour town so must be able to get octopus. And there must be a shop for health-food freaks like myself where you can get all those strange grains & pulses, so what about octopus in quinoa
Tip 1 – If you get fresh octopus, freeze it. If you get frozen octopus, erm, it’s already frozen. If you don’t freeze it you’ll be needing a chainsaw to cut it up – the freezing process breaks down some of the inherent rubberiness (is that a word?
)
Tip 2 - Also get your friendly fishmonger to clean it – a lot less bovver than a Hovver
Tip 3 – Get baby octopus, then you don’t need to boil it for hours on end to make it edible
Tip 4 – Don’t, as they do in Korea, eat live baby octopus (there are some disturbing YouTube videos of this if you dare to look, such as this, you have been warned)

So, get some organic
Bolivian quinoa on the go in some stock with a knob
of butter.

Then get the octopus cleaned & rinsed.

Fry in some butter for that delightful taste....

....looking good....

....and adorn with something to break up the monotony of the colours
Hmmm, rubbery
