Bongo Fury

Hi all,
I'm looking for the heated rear tailgate glass for a 96 td freetop. I can get it on evilbay but pickup only so no good for me when its 400 mile away .
I was wondering if anyone knew of a breakers local to Glasgow who might have one . Or if by some stroke of luck someone had one locally,its happened before

Not exactly local, but a lot closer than 400 miles. Try these guys in Gala, I called last month and they said they had 3 Bongo's.

Near to my backyard. We could arrange a relay if they have what you need. Part could be passed on to someone from your neck of the woods returning from the Scottish Bongo Bash.

Thanks for your quick responses guys. i will give them a call and see if they have the glass.
But i think it may be asking a bit much for someone to carry something this big back from their holidays.
Although there have been some strange things relayed on here before .
Got one nearer to home from my other post in wanted section. But they will only sell the tailgate as a unit IM HOPING FOR A HAPPY COINCIDENCE SOMEONE ''SOMEWHERE OVER THE RAINBOW WAY UP HIGH''

There is a Bongo in the top of HELEN STREET, near Ibrox, SCRAPPIE.
They wanted £35 for a tailgate mirror, rather expensive

I dropped in on Thomson's in Gala today and picked up a driver's doorstep plastic trim for £10 + vat. Mine got cracked when the Cruise Control was fitted and started to leak through.

I saw two of the three Bongos mentioned above. The one my part came from had a damaged tailgate with seemingly intact heated glass in it (damage was at the very bottom). Made an inquiry about it and was told that it could go for £25 + vat. Intrested BB?, I could get it for you and hold it for a wee while until a Bongo Relay is arranged.

I did mention that I knew a bloke from Glasgow who was looking for one. He must have bumped the price up when he heard "Glasgow".

This would be ideal price wise, is that for the glass or the tailgate? If it is for the glass there may be a problem removing it from the tailgate unless he can do it. IF ITS FOR THE TAILGATE THEN ITS GONNA BE A BIT OF A RELAY . Probably be a wee awayday for me . Please pm me with details. AT THAT PRICE i cant say no .
