Alloy Wheel ratings..

Hi all,
I've read a few threads and looked on the Alloys factsheet and got myself some Mitsubishi 16" alloys off ebay.. I was just looking up the loading recomendations against the tyres that are already on the alloys and they're not enough - was going to get some decent boots as recommended in various posts..
BUT: I just found a few posts stating concerns over people using car wheels on Bongo's - it seems to me that most Bongo's use car alloys - in practicality is this really an issue (I did see the post on insurance claims & non-van rated alloys tho)?
I'm now considering not using them - am I being too alarmist? A lot of Bongos seem to use RX8 alloys, which is lighter than the Galant/Lancer my ones came off. Mines a 2wd AFT and will never be loaded upto the gills like a van. I might get some earache off the wife, but the alloys will also fit the Primera I'm buying (and its got good car tyres on it so all is not lost).
cheers,
Steve
