Re: Day meet- Scottish Borders?
Whit's the best way doon tae peebles fae glesga? thanks awfully much
Re: Day meet- Scottish Borders?
Heading East on M8, take the turning for Lanark & Carluke and follow the signs for Peebles (past Carstairs and keep going East) Alternatively M8 to Edinburgh, round bypass to Fairmilehead and then follow sign posts for Peebles (go via Auchendinny rather than through Penicuik) Time wise both are about the same, but distance wise 'cross country via carluke is about 10 to 15 miles less. Make sure you change any 'leisure ware' on the border for tweed caps and plus fours..... one must look the part

Popped in to see David with June yesterday. Slight problem with the size of the muffins, David has either joined the year of the weight loss or he was having me on again.

Tony...It will only be the 10 muffins you requested that will be the size of marshmallows. I'm not as daft as you might think.... remember I have two 'sharp' kids to keep me on my toes (now what was it that went well with chocolate......ah yes Chillies )
Re: Day meet- Scottish Borders?
Bump.... Just a wee reminder for anybody fancying a jaunt out on Sunday....The more the better
Re: Day meet- Scottish Borders?
I can also recommend Jim Jacks chippy at 16 Northgate, just off the Main St.
Just down the road from me but unfortunately can't make this as the bongo is going to get some work done on it this weekend.
