How do I remove the reversing mirror which i find pretty useless and unnecesssary. Do I have to remove the spoiler??

Yep - remove the screws holding the spoiler, lift it off & then undo the 4 screws holding the mirror. Watch out: these screws can be extremely tight to remove. Personally, I find the mirror invaluable when reversing & would rather leave it place than have gap where it used to be.

I would tend to agree with Simon, plus the Bongo mirror's a lot nicer looking & less imposing than the ones i see on some of the other imports...

Have you removed your mirror ? And if so, what are you doing with it ?! I'm looking for one...

Indeed

the bolts are stuck fast. Any suggestions on how to shift them?

Soak in WD40 and leave for a while then soak again and leave, then after a short period you should be able to remove these bolts.

although the treacles voice is a bit annoying, but better than the nagging wife, i wouldn't trust my family when i'm reversing

If you ever tow anything, or have a bike rack, or Thule backup box, then the mirror is extremely useful.

Looks like a Hawk system?? Love the setup in the panel...
But you know me, i like to keep things simple & NOT go too heavy on the gadgetry.. Too much to go wrong & all that!??
