Bongo Fury

Just had my bongo returned from Chassis Clean and I have to say they did a terrific job. There are now just one or two places over the wheel arches where I need to prepare and re-paint/spray. Can anybody tell me how I go about finding a match with my current colour?

Your paint code is on a plate on the door pillar when you open passenger side door - there's a fact sheet in the Member's Area - see http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/member ... /paint.pdf .
Bongo Fury shop sells the paint kits.

Most paint specialist will mix paint to the correct match, some can also fill an aerosol for you, try the yellow pages if you still have one. I think some branches of Halfords also provide this service You may find that the original colour isn't such a good match if your paint has faded at all.

On the passy side on any I've seen MM, tyre info is on drivers side.

Know the feeling well I actually went out to look before posting (just in case it was LHD )

Paint code on the door pillar unless like mine its all the wrong codes.
never been resprayed but deffo not the colour it says on the info.

Glad to hear that - I too was very pleased with Chassis Clean. Excellent bunch to deal with and the quality of the work was 1st class.

Even so I've recently flooded some Kurust followed by engine oil in the hope this will wick right into the seam between inner and outer wing as I noticed the waxoil spray doesnt get right in there.

Also, after 3+ years, I have a little bit of flaking Dinitrol in the wheel arches. Chassis Clean recommend a check up after 3 years and I must book mine in for that. Should cost peanuts as its only in the most exposed and easy to access areas that the protection has got tired.
