Flashing dashboard light.

About nine weeks ago I had a recon fuel pump fitted and since then the hold light on the dash keeps flashing on and off in a constant pulse, it's not flashing in any sequence as to point to any fault, when you first start the Bongo it dosn't flash, it's only when you rev it that it starts to flash and dosn't stop until you turn off the engine. We've had a look to see if any wires have been dislogded but they all seem to be intact. The Bongo is driving great and it makes no difference to the changing of gears, I know I shouldn't but I've had to stick a piece of black gaffer tape over the light because it's winding me up when driving

.
Please

, there must be someone out there who can help???

To get a fault code there's a fact sheet in the members area that tells you how, "diagnostics" I think it's called. Try a search on "flashing and hold and light" too.

The Hold light flashes when the Transmission Control Module (TCM) spots a problem, see the
Factsheet for reading the fault code out.

Thanks Guys, I've printed off the transmission fault codes and I'll take them to Adrian (Japan Direct) next week. I noticed that code no.1 was engine speed unit, since the recon pump was fitted I have noticed that the tick over speed seems a bit slow, I wonder if this might have something to do with it?
I would also like to point out that I am totally thick when it comes to anything mechanical on cars, so if I ask stupid questions you'll just have to bear with me
Once again thankyou for your help and I'll let you know what happens.

I must admit, since the fault has occured since the new pump was fitted, I'd want to take it back & let whoever fitted it sort it out, at least they know what they've done & you can't be accused of messing with it
